How far is the beach from the hotel?
Hotel Ausonia enjoys a very central and quiet location, about 250 metres from the beautiful Rimini seafront, a few metres from Viale Vespucci and 1000 metres from the famous Grand Hotel in Rimini.
Are there parking spaces?
We do not have our own car park or reserved parking spaces, but there is free parking along the street around the hotel. For those who would prefer a guarded car park, we are close to the Settebello car park. It offers a guarded parking service at an advantageous price.
What are the times for check-in and check-out?
Check-in is guaranteed from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival - check-out no later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
At what time can I arrive at the hotel?
You can arrive at any time, even early in the morning. If the room is free the day before, it will be handed over as early as 9 a.m., otherwise you can leave your luggage in the lobby and return at the scheduled check-in time.
How often is the room cleaned?
Rooms are cleaned daily from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
How often is the linen changed?
Bath towels and bed linen are changed every 3 days. However, a complete change can be requested at any time at an additional cost. Please enquire at the reception.
What is the maximum number of people that can stay in a room?
Some rooms can accommodate up to 4 people.
What is the cost of a third bed?
For the third bed, there is a price reduction per person depending on the period.
Is it possible to book a double room for single use?
Yes, this is possible. The cost of a double room for single use is equal to the price per person plus the supplement, which varies depending on the period.
Is it possible to keep the room after the check-out time?
If the room is available for the next day, it can be held until 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. for a small supplement, subject to prior arrangement with reception.
Are cots for babies available?
Cots are available on request and are subject to an additional charge.
Do you accept pets? What is the surcharge?
Of course do we accept pets, as long as they are small (max. 3 kg) and a maximum of one per room.
The daily supplement is € 10.00.
While we love animals, we also request the cooperation of our guests.
It is not permitted to leave your pet alone in your room beyond the time necessary to enjoy a meal in our restaurant. Dogs are not permitted in the common areas where food and drinks are served.
Furthermore, we do not want the pups to climb on the beds and furniture.
With regard to the beach service at our affiliated beach establishment, the use of beach umbrellas reserved for animals (bathing ordinance no. 1/2005 of the Emilia Romagna region), is subject to a daily supplement (in the case of bookings that include the beach service in the hotel rate, this supplement must be paid directly to the bathing attendant). Please remember to always carry the health and vaccination booklet of the animal.
Does the online price include breakfast?
Not always, for maximum savings we also offer some very advantageous rates that do not include breakfast. Normally all prices are in euros, excluding breakfast buffet.
Do I have to pay further taxes?

Sono esenti: minori fino al compimento dei 14 anni – soggetti che assistono degenti in strutture sanitarie comunali – le forze armate che soggiornano per esigenze di servizio – autisti ed accompagnatori per gruppi di min 25 persone – il personale dipendente della struttura. L’esenzione deve essere accompagnata da una dichiarazione sostitutiva di atto di notorietà.
Can I find a better price on a brokerage portal?
Absolutely not! You will not be able to find a lower rate on any other website than on the official website of Hotel Ausonia. Beware of any discrepancies, because in most cases they are outright frauds!

May I pay by credit card on arrival at the hotel?
Yes, we accept payment by credit cards from the following circuits: Visa, MasterCard, Diners American Express, PostePay and debit card.
Can I pay with bitcoin?
Of course!
Can I pay with a cheque on arrival at the hotel?
No, we do not accept payment by cheque.
What happens if I then change my mind and have to cancel the booking?
All direct bookings made with Hotel Ausonia are cancellable without penalty from 3 to 7 days prior to arrival depending on the cancellation policy you have booked.
After this deadline, the penalty varies depending on the policy ranging from the cost of the first night's stay up to 100% of the booked amount.
Furthermore, these conditions do not apply to all bookings made through intermediaries (booking portals, agency, tour operator, etc.) for which we refer to the conditions of the individual operators.
How is the 20% deposit or prepayment to be paid??
Credit card (MasterCard, Visa or PostePay), bank transfer to IT87 J030 6924 2351 0000 0002 554 or a bitcoin transfer.
Is internet access available?
Free Wi-Fi coverage is available throughout the hotel.
Is there a bar inside the hotel?
Yes, we have a 24-hour bar
Is there a restaurant within the hotel?
Yes, from May/June to September, we have a family-run restaurant with specialities from the Romagna for our guests. A reservation is necessary.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Yes. 50% of our rooms have balconies and 50% only have windows. Some rooms have all the amenities but no bidet in the bathroom. The room allocation is random and is based on availability at the time and length of stay. Only a balcony can be booked in advance and is subject to a small additional charge.
