How far is the beach from the hotel?
The Ausonia Hotel enjoys a very central and quiet location, about 250 meters from the beautiful seafront of Rimini, a few meters from Viale Vespucci and 1000 meters from the famous Grand Hotel of Rimini.
Are there parking spaces?
We do not have our own internal parking or reserved parking spaces, but there is the possibility to park for free along the road around the hotel. For those who prefer a guarded parking, we are close to the Settebello parking. At a favorable price, it offers a monitored parking service.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in guaranteed from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival – check-out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
What time can I arrive at the hotel?
You can arrive at any time, even early in the morning. If the room is free from the previous day, it will be handed over as early as 9:00 AM; otherwise, you can leave your luggage in the lobby and return at the scheduled check-in time.
How often are the rooms cleaned?
The rooms are cleaned every day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
How often is the linen changed?
The replacement of bath towels and bed linen occurs every 3 days. However, you can request a complete change at any time for an additional cost. You can request information at the Reception.
What is the maximum number of people that can stay in a room?
Some rooms can accommodate up to 4 people.
What is the cost of a third bed?
For the third bed, a price reduction per person is provided based on the period.
Is it possible to book a double room for single use?
Yes, it is possible. The cost of a double room for single use is equal to the price per person plus the supplement that varies based on the period.
Is it possible to keep the room beyond check-out time?
If the room is available for the next day, with a small supplement, it can be kept until 1:00 PM or until 5:00 PM, subject to arrangements with the reception.
Are cots available for children?
Cots are available upon request and come with an additional cost.
Do you accept pets? What is the supplement?
Yes, we accept pets, provided they are small (max 3 kg) and a maximum of one per room.
The daily supplement is €10.00.
We love animals but we also ask for the cooperation of our guests.
It is not possible to leave the pet alone in the room beyond the strictly necessary time to have meals at our restaurant. Dogs are not allowed in common areas where food and drinks are served.
Furthermore, we wish that puppies do not climb on beds and furniture.
Regarding the beach service at our affiliated establishment, the use of umbrellas dedicated to animals (beach ordinance no. 1/2005 of the Emilia Romagna region) has a daily supplement (in the case of reservations that include beach service in the hotel rate, this supplement must be paid directly to the lifeguard). Remember to always bring the pet's health and vaccination booklet with you.
Does the online price include breakfast?
Not always, for maximum savings we also have some very advantageous rates that do not include breakfast. Normally all prices are expressed in euros, breakfast buffet excluded.
Do I have to pay other taxes?
Yes, since October 1, 2012, a tourist tax has been in effect in the Municipality of Rimini, which today is €2.50 per day for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Exemptions include: minors up to 14 years old – individuals assisting patients in municipal healthcare facilities – armed forces staying for service needs – drivers and escorts for groups of at least 25 people – employees of the facility. The exemption must be accompanied by a self-declaration of notoriety.
Maybe on an intermediary portal I can find a more advantageous price?
Absolutely not! You will not find a lower rate on any other website than that offered by the official site of the Ausonia Hotel. Be careful of any discrepancies, as in most cases they are outright scams!
I would like to book online but I am worried about the security of my credit card data.
The transmitted data is secure with a 128-bit Verisign SSL security certificate; you can verify at the time of entering data in the address bar that it is in the format “https” indicating a “secure” site.
Can I pay by credit card upon arrival at the hotel?
Yes, we accept payments with cards from the following circuits: Visa, MasterCard, Diners American Express, PostePay, and Pagobancomat.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Of course, but only if there is enough time for the credit to our bank account; otherwise, you will need to use instant bank transfer.
Can I pay by check upon arrival at the hotel?
No, we do not accept payments by check.
But what if I change my mind and need to cancel the reservation?
All reservations made directly at the Ausonia Hotel can be canceled without any penalty from 3 to 7 days before arrival based on the cancellation conditions booked.
After this deadline, the penalty ranges from the cost of the first night of stay up to 100% of the booked stay based on various policies.
These conditions do not apply to all reservations made through intermediaries (booking portals, agencies, tour operators, etc.) for which the conditions of individual operators apply.
What are the payment methods for the 20% deposit or prepayment?

Is internet access available?
Throughout the hotel, there is free Wi-Fi coverage.
Is there a bar inside the hotel?
Yes, we have a bar open 24 hours.
Is there a restaurant inside the hotel?
Yes, from May/June to September, we have a family-run restaurant for our guests with Romagna specialties. Reservation is mandatory.
Is there anything else I should know?
Yes. 50% of our rooms have a balcony and 50% have only a window. Some rooms are equipped with all amenities but do not have a bidet in the bathroom. The assignment of one solution rather than another is random and is based on current availability and the length of stay. Only the balcony can be booked in advance and has a small additional cost.
