A personal story: the first time I went to San Patrignano

I will never forget the first time I climbed the hills overlooking Rimini from above. The sea was behind me, and in front of me opened a green, gentle, and lush landscape. San Patrignano was founded in 1978 by the will of Vincenzo Muccioli, a visionary man who decided to offer refuge and future to young people marked by heroin, which in those years was devastating entire generations.

Today, San Patrignano welcomes hundreds of people fighting against addiction for free, providing them with a roof, training, and above all, a second chance.
